McConnell Edwards combines the experience and expertise of two seasoned crisis communicators.

Kaitlyn McConnell served as CoxHealth’s corporate media relations representative for more than six years. During her tenure at CoxHealth, she led the health system’s corporate social media presence — both through content creation and public response management — and response to news media. She is also the founder of Ozarks Alive, a cultural preservation project through which she has written more than 700 stories about regional people, places and history, and has developed a social media community of nearly 40,000 people.

Steve Edwards Steve Edwards retired from CoxHealth after 30 years of service, where he held a multitude of leadership roles, culminating in his decade-long tenure as president and CEO of the $2 billion Missouri-based health system. Through his leadership, the health care organization grew its employee base from 7,500 to 13,000; acquired and constructed multiple hospitals and clinics; created multiple insurance companies; and was consistently recognized as a “Best Employer” by Forbes Magazine and Modern Healthcare. In addition to McConnell Edwards, his retirement is focused on ImagineHealth, his health care consulting company, and community work including numerous board positions.
